Grow your funding

The more you promote, the more you earn.

Share the platform in your newsletter, mention it at your next PTA meeting, and let trusted business owners know Bookbag exists. Every business that finds Bookbag through your school is a potential campaign booking.

There's no ceiling on what your school can earn — and no cap on how many trusted businesses can support you.

What a printed sheet looks like

Every campaign delivers an A4 activity sheet to each classroom, ready to hand out. A range of activity types are available, from colouring to wordsearches, scavenger hunts and more. Text is set in a typeface especially designed for readability, so children of all abilities can engage with the material.

Why schools choose Bookbag

A new income stream that fits around your school, not the other way around.

You stay in control

Every campaign is sent to you before anything is printed. You review it, approve it, or decline it. No explanation required. If it does not fit your school, it does not run. You are never obligated to host any campaign.

60% of every campaign fee, to you

Your school earns 60% of the media fee from every campaign you host. Paid on confirmed fulfilment. Spend it on resources, trips, staffing, or wherever it is needed most. This income sits alongside your existing fundraising and grant income, it does not replace it.

Safe by design

Every Bookbag campaign is print-only. No data capture or digital interaction aimed at children. Bookbag reviews all materials before they reach you. Your safeguarding obligations are protected at every stage, by design, not by policy.

What your school receives

Each campaign delivers a physical printed activity sheet. No screens, no logins, no digital footprint.

Safeguarding is paramount

Every campaign Bookbag approves must meet strict safeguarding standards before it reaches your school. These standards apply to every format and every business.

What every campaign will include

  • The business name, logo, and approved campaign artwork
  • A friendly character, mascot, or themed illustration designed for primary-age pupils
  • An age-appropriate educational activity, puzzle, or colouring sheet
  • A brief statement from the business
  • A clearly separated parent-facing section, which may include a URL and voucher code

What campaigns cannot include

  • Any digital destination directed at children
  • Direct calls to action aimed at children to purchase, download, or sign up
  • Products or businesses subject to HFSS advertising restrictions in a primary school context
  • Content that implies endorsement by the school, a teacher, or any named individual

Have a specific safeguarding question? Our team will walk you through every check in detail before you accept your first campaign. All activity material is reviewed and approved by you before anything goes to print.

60% of every campaign budget that runs in your school is paid directly into your school's bank account. The amount depends on the campaign, and both the total campaign budget and your school's share are confirmed in writing before you agree to host anything, so you always know what you're saying yes to. Payment is made on a defined schedule after the campaign runs, once the advertiser has paid Bookbag, typically within 30–60 days. The funding isn't ring-fenced for a particular use: it's school income, and your school decides how to spend it.

An income stream that works alongside everything else you already do.

Rising costs and flat budgets are a structural problem. Bookbag will not solve that on its own. What it does is add a recurring, unrestricted income stream that requires minimal staff time, no upfront cost, and no compromise on safeguarding.

60% of every media fee comes directly to your school.
